Hello Friends,

We are pleased to present a new HDTH record to rearrange your synapses. Strap in tight and adjust your helmet and protective goggles just so as this space-craft of sound will propel you at warp speed into the sonic space-time continuum. From Hound Dog Taylor’s Hand, this is THE DISTINCTION OF PAST AND FUTURE.

While listening to this new recording, bear in mind that reaching toward the continuum limit is essentially just letting the number of coordinates and degrees of freedom go to infinity. You can also just let the music envelop you as it progresses insistently toward cosmic oblivion. You get the drift.

In the desire to approach an infinite sound-energy density when recording these HDTH sessions, the complex system of improvisation is rendered to its most reductive points as we strive toward a singularity of sound, thought, and action—a unification of disparate human, emotional, and reactionary elements. Three pieces begin to function as one and the resulting efflux is what you are about to hear.

In short, the new record is another neuron-frying ripper, reflecting a decade of working together as Hound Dog Taylor’s Hand…we hope you enjoy the trip!
